Google cache is free and easy to use. Simply type cache: and a URL and Google will return an archived copy of that particular web page.
How is this important
Let’s say you are on the protective intelligence team and you happen to notice some content on a particular page, you make note of it, and maybe a week or two later you revisit that page and that content has been removed. Using Google cache will allow you to look at an archived page of that content.
Personally I like to use Google cache to view LinkedIn profiles as it does so without being logged in so it won’t leave the “cookie trail” that I looked at anyone’s profile. Yes I can just as easily log out of LinkedIn and do the same thing but using Google cache is a quick and easy way.
