Introducing the Mailchimp Landing Page Creator!
In this video, I show you how to create a landing page for both an opt-in lead magnet and a product page.
One of the best ways to create a community is with an email list. Email lists that people are actually opting in to get your content. It is the best way to start people on their journey to get to know you to get to like you and get to trust you and buy your products and services. It is absolutely vital that if you are in the online business, whether it is a SaaS or product, you need to have an email list.
A great way to start an email list is with an opt-in form that in return for signing up to the mailing list a person receives a free downloadable product. Usually a PDF.

To create the landing page, click Campaigns, then click Landing Page. There are two types of pages – an opt-in page, and a product page. The product page option can connect directly to your WooCommerce store on your website. I believe you can connect other e-commerce providers.
Clicking either option will start you with entering in an internal name for the landing page and selecting the email list connection. Then you are ready to design your page. Clicking edit landing page will start you with a basic template which you can add a logo, change colors, text formatting, add images, etc.
You can add/edit as much as needed to get the landing page looking the way you want. Click preview to open the landing page in the browser and see how it looks on the web and mobile. You can test out the opt-in process as well. Once you are satisfied with your page design click Save and Continue.
The final 3 steps are to give a Title for your page which will be visible in the browser and for search engines. Next, you have the option to edit the URL or keep the default (based on the title). The last step is to make your page live and to share with your community and potential customers and clients.
If you need to make changes to your page you will need to Unpublish it.
