Intro to Google + and Hangouts

Yesterday I participated in my first Google Hangout. Yeah I know, to most I’m a little behind the Google plus curve, but I’m getting there. Before yesterday’s hangout I tested out some of the new features of the hangouts in particular SlideShare and YouTube apps  – still experimenting but I really see Google plus as a real business platform. Let me know what you think.
There were some that could not attend the hangout for no other reason than they didn’t know how to get to Google plus, didn’t have a Google plus account, and had no concept of a hangout.
Wanting to help those get a better understanding of how to sign in, sign up, and get to a hangout I created this video which briefly goes over just some of the features Google plus offers.
With the latest changes to Google plus I’m really enjoying spending my time on the platform, cultivating relationships, and getting to know other people that do what I do.  I can’t seem to have that same connection on Facebook.
