Mailchimp Has Done Something Crazy!

They’ve given you the ability to create multiple forms in your audience list.

I just happened to be working on the signup forms in my Mailchimp account, and I noticed something very new.

If I go down to my signup forms, we have a new look on our forms homepage. Previously, the forms homepage would click create an embed form, create a popup form, create a landing page form, or go to the form builder. That has all changed. Now, on the top right, you also notice something new called create a new form. You can see here that I have created recent forms. This homepage for your signup forms is completely new.

Scrolling down the page, you’ll see that we have the popup form, the embedded form, the signup landing page, contact form integrations, and the form builder. That has not changed, and we’ll get to the form builder in just a second because I was hopeful that they’d also update something else, but they did not.

I have created more than one embed form, so that is new.

Creating a new form gave me the option to have more than one embed form in my list. This is great news for people who need multiple forms for different purposes.

For example, you could have one form for newsletter signups and another for event registrations. I’m very excited about that.

Still Sad About This One Feature

Now, the sad thing about all this, and hopefully they will make changes to this if we go back to the signup forms homepage and go down to the form builder, is that I was hoping that since we now have the ability to create multiple forms, we’d have the ability to create multiple redirects thank you pages.

Sadly, if I go to the confirmation thank you page, we still have one option for one audience, so we can only redirect once, no matter how many different forms we create. On Mailchimp, we only have the option to create one redirect for that entire audience. Hopefully, they catch up, and we will be able to make changes to that, too.

Overall

But I’m very excited to see that they now have the ability to have multiple forms for your audience. Let me know if you have this new feature. Post in the comments below.
